What if drowning was the only way out?

It has been awhile, but progress is being made and possibly some “Kill your darlings” moments may be in store. But yes, Swimming Lessons is getting closer and closer to the finish line.

A story that started as a short story is now novel length with plots and sub-plots rising the surface more frequently than I thought was possible. But this story is taking me where it wants and, so far, I can’t argue with that.

I anticipate a December 2025 release, but we shall see where else this story goes. Swimming Lessons carries more of an underlying creep factor than blood, guts, and gore, but I think it will appeal to horror fans.
